報告人簡介：

      Zhijun (George) Qiao， 現任美國德克薩斯大學數學學院首席教授。1997年獲得復旦大學數學系博士學位，師從谷超豪院士和胡和生院士。1999年獲全國百篇優秀博士論文，1999-2001年在德國卡塞爾大學數學系任洪堡學者。研究方向是非線性偏微分方程，可積系統與非線性尖孤波，KdV方程和孤立子理論，可積辛映射，R-矩陣理論，雷達圖像處理和數學物理的反問題。主持完成國家級項目20余項；在《Communications in Mathematical Physics》、《Journal of Nonlinear Science》、《Journal of Differential Equations》等著名國際刊物發表學術論文160余篇，出版著作2部；在全世界公認的五大數學物理學術組織擔任會員；在數學物理領域內的六大一流國際期刊擔任編委；將近百次被邀請在國際研討會和專業學術會議上做主題發言與專題報告和學術報告，也在世界各地組織了20多次國際會議、研討會。

報告摘要： 

       In this talk, we introduce some higher order models with peakons or pseudo-peakons we proposed recently. We also present new type of peakon solutions of partial differential equations, called rogue peakons provided with a non-traveling wave. Some linear and nonlinear models are taken to illustrate the rogue peakon solutions. Some open problems will be addressed for discussion in the end. Part of work is joint with Dr. Baoqiang Xia, Dr. Quansheng Liu, and Dr. Enrique Reyes et al.
