報告人簡介：

     陳文雄，美國紐約Yeshiva 大學終身教授，數學系主任，國際知名的數學家。曾多次獲得美國國家科學基金獎。擔任Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods&Applications 及 Communications on Pure and Applied Analysis 兩個SCI 數學雜志的編輯。研究方向為非線性偏微分方程，目前以分數階Laplace 方程為主。他曾先后在如下的SCI一區數學期刊上發表3篇論文：Annals of Mathematics: 1 篇，Communications of Pure and Applied Mathematics: 2 篇。根據GoogleScholar，他在1991 年Duke Math. J.上發表的名為 Classification of solutions of some nonlinear elliptic equations 一篇被引高達 750次以上。在 2006年 CPAM 上發表的名為Classification for the solutions of integral equations 一篇被引高達 400 次以上。近年來，他在Advances in Mathematics 發表的文章中有三篇被列為高被引（Highly Cited).出版專著《Methods on Nonlinear Elliptic Equations》和《The Fractional Laplacian》兩本。
